Paul Chaulk, MSc

Paul has worked as a consultant and principal of Atlantic Evaluation Group Inc based in Charlottetown, PEI but serving clients across Canada for the past 14 years. He works with a variety of colleagues across Canada with expertise in particular content areas such as health, social services and post-secondary education. He is focused on participatory evaluations, having designed and/or conducted over 60 such program/project evaluations. His survey interests include complex (branching) survey design, survey sampling to ensure a representative sample, and segmentation of clients/target audiences into discrete groups with similar characteristics. Topic areas include employee engagement and client/customer satisfaction surveys. He is also experienced in research design and implementation and systematic literature/best practice reviews.

Steve McQuaid, MSW

Steve McQuaid has extensive experience as a consultant involved in the provision of program review, research, evaluation, strategic planning and facilitation. He has provided consulting services to a diverse range of organizations, groups and sectors including health, social services, justice, and the community not-for-profit sector.  As a consultant, Steve has extensive experience in workshop facilitation, conducting key informant interviews and focus groups, and has strong planning, qualitative research, and report writing skills. Prior to his work as a private consultant, Steve worked with the PEI Government for 23 years. During this time, he worked in a variety of direct service, supervisory, management, and program development positions.

Jennifer Jones, ITSS

Jennifer has been with the Atlantic Evaluation Group Inc. as a Research Assistant/Junior Consultant for the last decade. She has an Information Technology Support Specialist diploma, and a high level of proficiency in electronic data management. She has been involved in a wide variety of program evaluation, research and planning projects with organizations across Canada and in both the Federal and Provincial public sectors and as well as international organizations in the private sector. She has worked in the fields of health, justice, community development, labour market research and employee engagement. She has extensive experience in online survey development, programming and management; the compilation, breakdown and analysis of the quantitative research data (surveys), qualitative data collection and analysis, and assisting with report development and design, project logistics and other administrative tasks. Her continued education includes ongoing French Language training through the College d’Acadie in Prince Edward Island at an intermediate level.
